Symptoms

Not able to open Employee compensation statement due to Adobe error

When trying to generate a compensation statement for any employee, click on generate statement is producing the following error "Adobe reader could not open Statement.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file ahs been damaged (For example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded". because of this error we are not able to generate any compensation statements.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Access Comp Plan via Act as Proxy Manager
2. Generate the statement for an employee
3. Error is thrown.
