Some organizations provide Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting (FR) to their business executives and line of business managers as the single access point to review the financial balances sourced from Oracle Fusion Budgetary Control. These users may want to inquire further on a specific amount and would like the full access to drill down to any pertinent details. Some may be interested in the list of transactions that constitute the amount. Some may even be interested in reviewing the details of the individual transactions. These users usually do not require full access to Fusion Applications, such as the General Accounting Dashboard or the Budgetary Control Dashboard. They merely need access to the drill paths, wherever the financial amounts may drill down to.

This document provides the security setups to grant business executives and line of business managers full access to all the possible drill paths from FR reports based on Oracle Fusion Budgetary Control data without having to grant access to the Budgetary Control Dashboard.
