Null Pointer Exception When Resource is Being Added to an Maintenance Work Order Operation (Doc ID 2394563.1)

Symptoms

Problem Description

User is facing a 'Java Null Pointer exception' error when trying to add a resource to a Maintenance Work Order.

The following Setup tasks have been completed:

  1. Inventory Organization parameters for Maintenance 
  2. Manage Inventory Organization Data Access for Users
  3. Maintenance Plant Parameters
  4. Manage Maintenance Work Centers
  5. Manage Maintenance Work Areas
  6. Manage Maintenance Resources
Note: The organization is NOT enabled as a Manufacturing Plant in the Organization parameters because the business scope is limited to Maintenance alone.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
User should be able to add the resource to an operation.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced through the following steps:

  1. Fusion Maintenance Management -> Manage Maintenance Work Orders
  2. Query for the work order and open the operations tab 
  3. Add a resource to an existing operation
