Symptoms
Manage Requisition Approvals > User Defined Attribute
Requisition is automatically rejected if approval rule contains a user defined attribute = type summation based on Cost Center Hierarchy.
Have already executed the procedure in document: Req Approvals User Defined Summation Cost Center Hierarchy Not Working (Doc ID 2220193.1).
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow the steps in document Req Approvals User Defined Summation Cost Center Hierarchy Not Working (Doc ID 2220193.1)
2. Set up Manage Requisition Approvals > User Defined Attribute
Edit User Defined Attributes
User Defined Attribute = <user defined attribute name>
Type = Summation
Attribute = Amount
Match using = Hierarchy Cost Center
Rolls up to <tree name>
3. Set up approval rule as follows
Manage Requisition Approvals
Condition
Cost Center greater than or equal to <value>
Action
Approval Required
Approval Group
<group name>
3. Enter a requisition with an amount greater than or equal to <value>
Notice that the requisition is automatically rejected.
