Collaboration Message Error" Unable to invoke endpoint" When Sending PO (Doc ID 2410901.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to transmit PO via collaboration messaging with OSN the following error occurs.

Error
Unable to invoke endpoint URI "https://b2bpreview.dell.com/invoke/B2BDirect.Entry/processDocument" successfully due to: java.lang.NullPointerException


Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create trading partner without service provider.
2. Linked this trading partner to supplier site.
3. Create PO
4. Approve PO.
5. This order will show up in Collaboration Messaging -> Undelivered Messages. With error message
