Last updated on FEBRUARY 02, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Purchasing Cloud Service - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Oracle Fusion Purchasing - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Require the ability to create context sensitive segments on the requisition and map them to the same context segments created on a purchase order.

Created a context sensitive segment for requisition lines, but they did not map to the same PO line context sensitive segments when the requisition was processed to a PO.

Steps
1.  Created a context segment for requisition and purchase order lines.
2.  Added the same 2 context values and mapped to the same attributes on both requisition line and purchase order line.
3.
Deployed the flexfields

When add a defaulting line level DFF in the "Configure Requisitioning Business Function" task, those context segments show up on the requisition line.
However, doing so restricts to using only one context segment and essentially makes the DFF act as a global segment.   That setting defeats the purpose of a context segment and the prompt does not show either.
