PRC:PO: Change Order Rejected When Adding Lines To An Existing Contract (Doc ID 2441789.1)

Symptoms

Change order rejected when adding lines to an existing Blanket Agreement

When receiving new contract lines on an existing contract (with valid start and ending dates)
the change order is rejected every time.

When users go on the rejected change order, and submit it again without changing anything,
the change order is correctly integrated.

Due to this issue, users cannot add change to BPA using Import Blanket Purchase Agreement ESS job.
 

Error

The ESS_SOAServer_xx-diagnostic.log shows following error:

''JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.AlreadyLockedException, msg=JBO-26092: Failed to lock the record in table PO_LINES_ARCHIVE_ALL with key oracle.jbo.Key[3000000239919800 ], another user holds the lock.JBO-26092: Failed to lock the record in table PO_LINES_ARCHIVE_ALL with key oracle.jbo.Key[300000023991980 0 ], another user holds the lock.''

 

 



Steps To Reproduce
1. Run Import Blanket Purchase Agreement ESS to change and add an another line.
2. JOb Failed/Completed and Blanket BPA Change order is Rejected.
3. Click on Actions, edit.
4. Click on Submit after add information.
5. Agreement updated with the second line.
