Error While Saving Forecast Changes (Doc ID 2480370.1)

Symptoms

Using Planning Central / Manage Planning Measures
On an Env running 11.13.18.05.0 in Development:
after editing the expression for the Final Shipments Forecast measure
to allow planners to control the demand provided to Supply planing by the use
of a Forecast Effectivity Date by adding the factor

*If(GetTimePeriod()>=Nvl(My Forecast Effectivity Date,GetTimePeriod()),1,0)

to the expression,
saving an edit value to a combination for Adjusted Shipments Forecast does not complete
and the UIServer adds a message like the following to the diagnostic apps log:

Caused by: oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.apps.scm.advancedPlanning.planningAnalytics.worksheetEngine.exceptions.WorksheetEngineExecutionException, msg=java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-00911: invalid character

-- Steps To Reproduce:

Customer states the issue can be reproduced at will at customer site with the following steps:
1. For the measure Final Shipments forecast, append the factor
*If(GetTimePeriod()>=Nvl(My Forecast Effectivity Date,GetTimePeriod()),1,0)
to the expression.
2. Save an edited value to a combination for Adjusted Shipments Forecast.
3. Observe that clicking the OK button on the Edit Measures form does not close the form.
4. Inspect the UIServer diagnostic apps log to observe the noted error.
