PRC: PO: Unable To Import Purchase Orders With FBDI Template (Doc ID 2505900.1)

Symptoms

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

The user is unable to Import Purchase Orders  with FBDI due to the below errors:

ERRORS

PO_PDOI_SUPPLIER_VALID-The supplier is not valid. Verify that the supplier is active, has a business relationship that is spend authorized, and has at least one active purchasing site associated to the procurement business unit. VENDOR_ID-<123>

PO_PA_BU_ASSGN_INVALID_ATR_VAL-The value of the attribute is not valid for the assigned business unit {REQ_BU_NAME}. VENDOR_SITE_ID--<123>

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps

1. Download the Purchase Order Import FBDI Template i.e. PurchaseOrderImportTemplate.xlsm from docs.oracle.com

2. Fill the data in the template PurchaseOrderImportTemplate.xlsm and click on generate CSV file


3. Fusion Application -> Navigate to "File Import and Export" -> Upload the csv file


4. Submit Import Orders From Tools -> Scheduled Processes

It gives the  below errors:

PO_PDOI_SUPPLIER_VALID-The supplier is not valid. Verify that the supplier is active, has a business relationship that is spend authorized, and has at least one active purchasing site associated to the procurement business unit. VENDOR_ID-<123>

 

Changes

Based on below error messages, the Supplier Site Assignment is not created.

Then reviewed the supplier creation process.
