Promised Ship Date Is Not Used To Calculate Suggested Dock Dates (Doc ID 2534211.1)

Last updated on APRIL 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Purchasing Cloud Service - Version 11.13.18.10.0 and later
Oracle Fusion Purchasing - Version 11.13.18.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer has specified promised date on the purchase order, but the purchase order supply record in INV_SUPPLY does not reflect promised date.

Promised Ship Date is not used to calculate suggested dock dates.

It is still showing XX-Mar-20XX and XX-Mar-20XX as the suggested dock and suggested due date.

This is throwing off the calculations on ATP and confusing the planners on the dates shown, impacting supply chain.

Expectation:

Planning should treat XX-May-20XX as the dock date, and the due date should be further out by post processing lead time.
