Journal Import Does Not Populate REFERENCE_1-10 In Table GL_IMPORT_REFERENCES For External Source (Doc ID 2537992.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 08, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion General Ledger - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

GL_IMPORT_REFERENCES not showing any reference columns values after Journal FBDI import with Import References enabled for the custom source.

>The Journal FBDI contains one batch, one journal, 14 lines, 7 debit lines, 7 credit lines. The debit lines are all booked against the same account combination. Same for the credit lines. Column REFERENCE6 in the file is populated.
>The Import Journal References check box is checked for custom source used.

>After running the request 'Load Interface for Import' successfully, run the Import Journals request selecting the Create Summary Journals = Yes.
>2 lines journal get created, as expected.
>However, when querying table GL_IMPORT_REFERENCES, we can see that the 14 lines were inserted, which is fine, but none of the references columns are populated.
