Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Users cannot perform amount based receipt when profile INV_QUANTITY_DECIMAL_PRECISION is set to zero.
The profile option INV_QUANTITY_DECIMAL_PRECISION was set to zero to prevent users from creating inventory transactions
(receipt, subinventory transfer, account alias) with decimals.
e.g.:
- Setup and Maintenance > Manage Administrator Profile Values
- Search profile Code: INV_QUANTITY_DECIMAL_PRECISION
- Update the value to 0
This is working as intended. However, when users try to perform an amount based receipt in the MyReceipts self-service form,
they cannot perform the receipt because the amount ($254.80) has a decimal.
The MyReceipts form uses only one field for either quantity or amount based receipts.
Requirement is that the INV_QUANTITY_DECIMAL_PRECISION profile option should not prevent amount based receipts from being performed.
