Cannot Search Asset Numbers in Maintenance Work Order UI (Doc ID 2617138.1)

Symptoms

While creating maintenance work order user clicks on the asset search
magnifying glass icon and when trying to find asset it shows "No data to display",
but instead of searching for the asset if the just types the entire asset number on
create maintenance work order and tab out it appears validate the asset.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Assets should come up in the search results.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Maintenance work order.
2. Click on magnifying glass to search the asset.
3. Enter the asset number and click on search.
4. No data to display
