Oracle Subscription Management: Reports Return Less Rows When Using a Different Language (Doc ID 2664919.1)

Symptoms

This issue impacts Oracle Subscription Management 19D and later.

If you apply report filters under a given NLS setting on below listed Presentation Columns, then the report you are attempting to view does not return any records if you view the Report under a different NLS setting. For example, if you apply the following filter expression under US English, then the report does not return any records under the Korean language NLS setting:

Member Status Code = 'Active' (US English)

Number of Active Subscriptions with TCV

Subscription By Status

Top Subscription Products by Revenue

Value of Expiring Contracts (in 30 days)

Value of Expiring Contracts (in 30 days) Detail Report 

Changes

A selected number of multi-lingual Presentation Columns as listed below, have been enabled with DESCRIPTOR_IDOF() function. This will allow users to display and filter values in these columns based on corresponding language-independent values.

Language-independent values can be viewed as report columns and also, applied as filters as shown in the example below:
