How can customer add modifications of a Subscription contract to the existing revenue management - rmcs contracts

Once rmcs contract is created from subscription management, if they make any modifications or add a line to the subscription contract it creates a new contract.
Can they use service mapping/algorithms to add the modifications/new line to the existing rmcs contract. ?
How do we pass additional attributes from Subscription Management to Revenue Management Cloud Service?
