Last updated on MARCH 23, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Supply Planning Cloud Service - Version 11.13.20.07.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
After running collections Incorrect substitute used by Global Order promising(GOP) for an item
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Incorrect substitute is used by GOP for SO#xxxxxx.
This is a transfer order created from org1 to org2 and has been interfaced to Order Management.
The original item- Item 1
Substituted Item-Item 2
2. Order created from org 1 to org 2
3. For the original item mentioned above there is currently only one substitute defined in PIM which is not enabled for planning.
4. However GOP substituted the item with Item 2. The substitution relationship between the original item and the item used as a substitute does not exist in product management.
Note:-1-Existed a reciprocal substitute relationship between the original item and a third item Item 3 but was deleted at a later point in time as it was no longer being used.
2-The collection table MSC_ITEM_SUBSTITUTES shows a record corresponding to the original item, which does not exist in PIM now
