PRC: PO: Purchase Order Approval Gets Stuck Without Progressing to next Position in the Tree (Doc ID 2775068.1)

Symptoms

Purchase Order (PO) Approval gets stuck without progressing to next position in the tree.

Approval setup is based on Position hierarchy.

This error is coming in SOA:

ERROR
-----------------------
Client received SOAP Fault from server : JBO-FND:::FND_CMN_INVALID_ATTRB_API_SERV: The value of the attribute role ID isn't valid.




STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create PO;
2. Send PO to approval process based on position hierarchy;
3. PO is stuck in Pending approval process with the above error.
