Goal
On : 11.13.21.07.0 version, Constrained Planning
Constrained supply plan is using alternate resource even though capacity available on the primary resource. Engine is not pre-building on the primary resource in earlier buckets where capacity is available but instead loading the alternate resource.
Per Oracle documentation, the planning process applies capacity constraints in a specific order -
• Prebuild in earlier time buckets
• Offload to an alternate resource (if defined)
• Overload capacity (to meet demand due date)
So why does engine does not pre-build in earlier buckets where enough primary resource capacity is available.
