FA:SCM:MNT Create Maintenance Work Orders via REST API: maintenanceWorkOrders, Does Not Populate PjcProjectNumber and PjcTaskNumber (Doc ID 2832562.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 02, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Maintenance Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.13.21.10.0 version, Work Order Execution

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When attempting to create a Maintenance Work Order with Project and Task numbers via REST API: /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/maintenanceWorkOrders

The Work Orders are getting created successfully. However, the project and task details are not populated.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Maintenance Work Order via Post method:
https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/supply-chain-management/21d/fasrp/op-fscmrestapi-resources-11.13.18.05-maintenanceworkorders-x-operations-0.html

2. Ensure project values ("PjcProjectNumber" & "PjcTaskNumber") are populated in payload
--> Validate that WO is created, and observe that the Project and Task details are NULL

3. Attempt to update the newly created WO (in #2 above) with Project and Task details using Patch request /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/maintenanceWorkOrders/{WorkOrderId}

--> Observe that both the Project and Task details remain as NULL (no error is ever generated)

NOTE: User is able to create a WO with Project and Task details via UI
