22A Users are getting duplicate email approval notifications (Doc ID 2861295.1)

Users are getting duplicate notifications. We have seen two patterns where customer reported duplicate notification issue.

Pattern 1: When task is assigned to a group of users and building the email content for one of the user has failed. In this case, BPM tries to rebuild the notification content and resends the notification to all the users which in turn resulted in duplicate notification.
In a particular customer scenario, it was seen that there are up to 6 retries and end user received those many notifications for the same task. Also in this scenario, user received duplicate notification with 5 mins internal (BPM retry interval).
Pattern 2: User is getting two notifications at the time of assignment. Currently only SR is reported which was closed by customer without an RCA.
