Last updated on FEBRUARY 02, 2023

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.13.22.04.0 version, Contract Authoring

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Observed Results: The System does not identify the copy and pasted tables in the last clauses of the contract when Reviewing change details.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expected Result: The copied tables throughout the contract are identified by the system as changes to the terms and saved to the contract document when 'Accept all changes' on the review page.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Download Contract into MS Word
2. Create a Table within a clause using Words' Insert>Table' feature (Create a 4x2 table with text in each block)
3. Copy and Paste table to Last clause of the Contract (In the Appendix Section)
4. 'Accept All changes and Stop Tracking' and Upload to System (Terms Actions>Upload Contract)
5. System does not identify the second table that was copied to the last clause of the contract as a change/update
However, the first table that was created manually is identified by the system

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------

This restricts a user from creating a table once and copying it throughout the document as needed.
