Goal

When setting up SLA rules in Oracle PPM for Oracle Project Costing. I am using Source as a "Reversing Accrual Indicator" in the SLA rule condition to derive the accounting for Miscellaneous Cost based on accrual Flag based on the business requirement. I'm receiving the following error.

"The source or user-defined formula Reversing Accrual Indicator used in the condition of account rule isn't assigned to event class Miscellaneous Cost Adjustment. (XLA-871148)
You must remove the source from the account rule conditions, or select a different account rule for assignment to the journal entry line."

Based on my analysis, I noticed that the "Reversing Accrual Indicator" for event class Miscellaneous Class source in "Manage Subledger Application Transaction Objects: Project Costing" is missing, which is why I am experiencing this error. I tried adding this source from my end, but I was unable to. I require a response to the following queries.

1. Could you please explain why it isn't included in the functionality that is seeded?

2. What are the steps to take if we need to add in order to Add that Source SLA?

3. If I add the source "Reversing Accrual Indicator" to Manage Subledger Application Transaction Objects: Project Costing under view sources, would there be any further effects?
