Subscription Status Doesn't Change From Expired To Active

Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When adding a new Subscription product Line to an already expired subscription, it is not changing the status of the subscription header to Under Amendment.
The header is still in Expired status. Now user is stuck with an Expired subscription with Draft Subscription product line.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Change the subscription status to Under Amendment.
STEPS
-----------------------
1. Search and select an expired subscription;
2. Add product line with End Date in the future;
3. Save => Line is added in Draft status and End Date at header level gets updated to the End Date from 2 step but the status at header level still remains in Expired
