Oracle VM Guest Unable To Utilize VLAN

Symptoms
After configuring different VLANs on OVM Server and assigning the guests interface to the VLAN, the guest is unable to ping out on the VLAN network. The OVM Server does have connectivity and can ping on this VLAN. The technique to configure VLAN on the domU guests is described.
Changes
1. Set up VLAN on switch
2. Configured OVM Server interface to be on VLAN network.
3. Created bridge to use VLAN interface
4. Assigned bridge interface to guest
