Winbind: Idmap_rid Mode Does Not Work on EL5 (Doc ID 1168264.1)

Symptoms

Using idmap_rid mode does not work, but configuring normal idmap mode works fine.  The following error could be found in winbind log when using idmpa_rid mode:

[2010/07/26 09:05:39, 5] nsswitch/winbindd_async.c:winbindd_sid2gid_recv(527)
  sid2gid returned an error
[2010/07/26 09:05:39, 5] nsswitch/winbindd_user.c:getpwsid_sid2gid_recv(293)
  Could not query gid for user XXX\myusername
