Adding an Oracle VM 2.2.x Server to server pool fails with "Exception: Obsolete Nodes Found" (Doc ID 1275393.1)

Symptoms

While trying to add a new node to a pool, the /etc/hosts file on the new node contains a wrong entry, and adding fails.  When you try to add the node again, you will get the following error message:

Exception: Obsolete Nodes Found
