You are running Oracle Linux 6 as a virtual machine guest and attempting to configure the 'kdump' service.

While attempting to start the 'kdump' service, you encounter the error as follows:

# service kdump start
Kdump is not supported on this kernel [FAILED]


Attempting to use the GUI utility 'system-config-kdump' to configure kdump, you will also notice the following message displayed:
