Symptoms

After bootup, the following messages flood the console:

lpfc_scsi_prep_dma_buf: Too many sg segments from dma_map_sg

Changes

This error is related to the number of Emulex HBA cards are in the system. This means that a system could operate successfully for some time, but fail once additional Emulex HBA cards are added. Alternatively, a large system with several Emulex cards could produce this error immediately.
