(Doc ID 1437493.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 11, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle VM - Version 3.0.3 and later
Linux x86-64
Reviewed at 29th.Sep. 2014

Symptoms

  1. When trying to refresh a NFS repository by pressing the "Refresh Selected Repository Contents" button under the  "Repositories" tab, a window pops up and displays "OVMRU_002006E: RepositoryName - Cannot perform operation." The repository is not presented to any servers.

  2. When trying to present or unpresent a NFS repository by pressing the "Present-Unpresent Selected Repository" button under the "Repositories" tab, the Oracle VM Manager shows that repository has been presented / unpresented successfully, but Dom0s do not show the change. Oracle VM Manager assumes that the job was completed, but it really did not happen. Oracle VM Manager and the OVS Agent Database are both out of sync.

  3. The OVS Agent log shows "Permission denied" errors when trying to mount the NFS repository:
