'vmcore' Not Dumped with 'kdump' on HP ProLiant G7 Server (Doc ID 1477232.1)

The kernel dumping service kdump is configured, but the system cannot create a vmcore with a crash/panic. In addition to that, the system logs might have the following:

kernel: NMI: IOCK error (debug interrupt?)

This problem has been seen with HP ProLiant G7 servers.
