Applies to:Linux OS - Version Oracle Linux 5.8 with Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel [2.6.32] and later
Customer have multiple OS installed on the same disk (different partitions).
Oracle Linux 6 on (hd0,0)
Oracle Linux 5 on (hd0,1)
GRUB unable to recognize the content of (hd0,0), complaining:
Hence it fail to load Oracle Linux 6.
After set (hd0,1) as '/boot', it's able to load Oracle Linux 6
Customer install Oracle Linux 5 on the same disk (different partitions), after installing Oracle Linux 6.
Hence the grub from Oracle Linux 6 was covered by the one from Oracle Linux 5.
