Symptoms

Virtual Machines running on Oracle VM Server experience either slow network connectivity, intermittent network disconnect, or network congestion. 

Below is not for all types of configuration, but for the ethernet adapters using ixgbe driver, you might observe the kernel trace messages on Oracle VM Server side.  Below is the example:
