Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle VM - Version 3.0.1 and later
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The system clock of a PVM Virtual Machine on Oracle VM Server skews a number of hours at the boot time, or at the migration time, compared with actual time. It could be adjusted with NTP service, but it will remain unchanged in case NTP is not configured or the difference is much more the NTP adjustment.
