Unable to Start a DomU "Error: Boot loader didn't return any data!" (Doc ID 1580769.1)

While trying to start a virtual machine ( domU ) you will get the following error:

this error can be seen directly in the Manager ( job details ) or when trying to manually start the domU with xm create
