Symptoms

OVM Manager not accessible, and "service ovmm start" does not complete ("hangs")

the following is seen in /u01/app/oracle/ovm-manager-3/machine1/base_adf_domain/servers/AdminServer/logs/AdminServer.log (on server that runs OVM Manager):
