Symptoms

When configure OCFS2 global heartbeat on Oracle VM guest (either PVM/HVM), creating global heartbeat OCFS2 file system on parted devices, it fails to start global heartbeat for Cluster with error o2cb: Heartbeat region could not be found <region UUID>.

 

Changes

Created global heartbeat OCFS2 file system on device partitions.
