Oracle VM - No Item Available Under "Generic Local Storage Array" When Creating A Data Repository (Doc ID 1646010.1)

Symptoms

A local attached disk had been added into an Oracle VM Server for creating a Data Repository on a local storage:


However no item listed under "Generic Local Storage Array" in Select Physical Disk page of creating a Data Repository in Oracle VM Manageri, even after performing "Rediscovery Server" and "Rescan Physical Disks" of this Oracle VM Server.

Changes

A local disk had been added to Oracle VM Server.  The disk was previously in use in another environment.  The disk still has at least one partitoin on it.
