Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle VM - Version 3.2.8 to 3.4.2 [Release OVM32 to OVM34] Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and later Linux x86-64
Goal
The goal of this note is to explain how to present and use replicated/cloned copies of storage repositories in a different server pool being managed by a different Oracle VM Manager.
This solution can be applied to many different uses by customers. Here are some common use cases for this solution:
Replicate one or more storage repositories to a remote site to use for disaster recovery. This solution will allow you to discover and use replicated storage repositories with a remote server pool being managed by a remote Oracle VM Manager.
Replicate one or more storage repositories to the same storage array or another storage array at the same site. This solution will also allow you to discover and use the replicated repository with a different server pool being managed by the same Oracle VM Manager.
