Exadata/Exalogic DB Node Crashes in Interrupt Mode in Infiniband Driver (mlx4_core/mlx4_ib) (Doc ID 1933632.1)

Symptoms

Exadata/Exalogic system:  database node crashes for unknown reason and not present errors found in the system logs.

Configure Kdump to capture the vmcore which shows that the server is crashed in the interrupt mode in mlx4 driver.

For example, below call trace can be found in the vmcore by executing 'bt' command.

 

Changes

No changes were made to the system prior to the reboot.
