Oracle Linux: Unable To Log In Via SSH, Producing "/bin/sh:no such file or directory" Or "Write failed: Broken pipe" Messages (Doc ID 1934092.1)

Symptoms

None of the users are able to login to the node via SSH. This includes root as well. Users can login to the node over other consoles without issue.

Issue As Experienced By "root"

SSH to the node as 'root' fails with the following message:

 

Changes

"ChrootDirectory" parameter has been enabled/changed in file: "/etc/ssh/sshd_config".
