Symptoms
A virtualization server is unable to join an OCFS2 cluster. Cannot mount OCFS2 file system. Cannot start any VM guests.
The following messages may be seen in either /var/log/messages
or /var/log/dmesg
when attempting to add the Oracle VM node or when attempting to start the ovs-agent
:
ocfs2: Unmounting device (252,2) on (node 0)
(mount.ocfs2,25004,7):ocfs2_fill_super:1238 ERROR: status = -22
(mount.ocfs2,25010,9):dlm_send_nodeinfo:1301 ERROR: node mismatch -22, node 2
(mount.ocfs2,25004,7):ocfs2_fill_super:1238 ERROR: status = -22
(mount.ocfs2,25010,9):dlm_send_nodeinfo:1301 ERROR: node mismatch -22, node 2
