Kernel Panic On Mkfs.ext4 To Large Volumes in Oracle VM Virtual Guest (Doc ID 1963604.1)

Upon attempting mkfs on large  volumes on an Oracle VM  guest running Oracle Linux 5 with  the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel R2 the server may panic

[Note:  On this example the Volume was an LVM of  600GB,  but this could happen to any large volumes]
