Last updated on FEBRUARY 15, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance Software - Version 2.0.1 to 2.0.1 [Release 1.0]
Linux x86-64

Repository imports may fail after upgrading to VCA 2.0.1. The problem occurs when the user logs into the Virtual Compute Appliance's Oracle VM Manager user interface, selects the Repository tab, selects and expands any repository, selects Assemblies, Templates or ISO, and then clicks on the Import icon to import from an external HTTP or FTP server.

The job will fail and the Job Summary in the Oracle VM Manager user interface will show the job status with a Message field containing "Async operation failed on server: ovcacnXXr1." where XX is the number of the compute node. If you click on the Details button, you will see the message
