Symptoms
MTU value(s) of bridge(s) be decreased to match MTU value(s) of emulated network interface(s) of HVM guest(s), which might brings negative network performance impacts on VM guests.
This issue does not reproduce If all of the VM guests are PVM Domain Type.
This issue is reproducible when an Oracle VM Server hosts VM guest(s) of HVM Domain Type.
For instance, MTU value of a bridge is 9000. An emulated network interface is built on this bridge and its MTU value is 1500. This emulated network interface is associated with a HVM guest. Once the HVM guest booting up (this emulated network interface will be up and connecting to the bridge), the bridge will decrease its own MTU value from 9000 to 1500.
