[PCA 2.x] Network Adapters in Virtual Machines Are Reporting an Incorrect Link/Connection Speed (Doc ID 2020437.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle VM Server, all supported releases, the Virtual Network Interface from virtual machines isn't always reported with the correct link speed, e.g. a virtual machine can display a 100 Mbit/sec link whereas the underlying bond is backed by Gigabit Ethernet Interfaces.
