Goal

The goal of this document is to describe how a system administrator can grow the size of the LVM root partition on an Oracle VM by resizing the Virtual disk and then applying steps on the guest O/S to have the correct size recognized for the extended root partition.

This document applies to virtual machines using LVM root partition.
