Last updated on SEPTEMBER 10, 2019
Applies to:Oracle VM - Version 2.2.2 to 3.3.2 [Release OVM222 to OVM33]
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and later
Occasionally, the memory size of Oracle VM Server(Dom0) would be reduced automatically.
For example, it should be 4096(MB) but in the case below it is 4029(MB):
# grep dom0_mem /etc/grub.conf
kernel /xen-64bit.gz dom0_mem=4096M
# xm info | grep Domain-0
Domain-0 0 4029 16 r----- 5105574.1 # 4029 is less than 4096
Typically, this can occur after starting a Virtual Machine
