During OS installation, modern Linux Kernels can detect the virtualization environment and use the appropriate driver.
e.g. PV driver will be used on Oracle VM, while fully virtualized driver will be used on VMware.
If a Guest is migrated from VMware to Oracle VM, the driver will remain unchanged. Such VM's may face some issues:
