Oracle VM: VM Guest With 100+ Virtual Disks Does Not Recognize Them All and Loses Connectivity (Doc ID 2038050.1)

Symptoms

When adding 104 or more virtual disks to a paravirtualized virtual machine (PVM) and booting the virtual machine to Oracle UEK2 ,UEK3 and UEK4 kernel, the virtual machine will not recognize all the disks and lose network connectivity.

Additionally the following errors will show up when booting:

PVM guest running RHCK kernel may suffer same issue of recognizing 100+ virtual disks.
