(Doc ID 2075506.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle OpenStack for Oracle Linux - Version OpenStack 2.0 and later
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

Internal Docker registry needs to be contacted without proxy.
Even with system wide proxy localhost exception (no_proxy variable) configured as below:

# env | grep -i proxy
FTP_PROXY=http://proxy.oracle.com:80
HTTPS_PROXY=http://proxy.oracle.com:80
NO_PROXY=localhost,127.0.0.0/8,dockeregistry.oracle.com
HTTP_PROXY=http://proxy.oracle.com:80

./import_to_registry.sh to import the Oracle OpenStack for Oracle Linux Docker images to Docker registry fails:

# ./import_to_registry.sh dockeregistry.oracle.com:5000
Checking file integrity:
ol-openstack-images-2.0.1.tar.bz2: OK

Please wait, this will take quite some time to complete!
The push refers to a repository [dockeregistry.oracle.com:5000/oracle/ol-openstack-nova-base] (len: 1)
